Sharon Makes…

Developing your next big project or program less overwhelming.

Whether you’re an individual artist looking to test out an idea, a community organization looking to develop an arts program, or an arts nonprofit trying to imagine new ways to engage your community, I can support you as you take the project from its dream stage to design and then reality.

What do I bring to the table?
Years of experience as a collaborator and co-designer for a dynamic municipal artist residency program. Experience re-imagining, reiterating, and re-implementing projects at various scales. A Master’s degree in Civic Media Art and Practice (Media Design) from Emerson College which provides a theoretical and pedagogical framework for my civic engagement and program development expertise. An open, creative, and responsive, approach that includes space for care and joy.

Request Types

Project Development Support: Whether you’ve got a big idea or an inkling of an idea, I’m here to help you refine, reimagine, and bring it to fruition. Acting as a thought partner I’ll support in developing your project or program. This includes things like helping you refine your goals and giving you feedback on potential risks or obstacles, helping you estimate your budget, create milestones, plan for documentation and more. At the end of our partnership you’ll have a written plan/document to guide you while implementing your project.

Requirements

Requests must be project or program-specific and cannot go on indefinitely. There must be a clear start and end date.

Rates depend on the scope of work, timeline, and hourly commitment. I provide flexible and accessible options for individual artists and grassroots/community-led programs so don’t hesitate to reach out! Let’s discuss and see what can work for both of us.

If everything above sounds good to you, fill out the form below, I’ll follow up and we can discuss rates and next steps!
